1. What this site is

This is the personal portfolio of Sean Hendrix, a student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It exists to show sound work and to let people get in touch about hiring me. Nothing on it is a contract or a binding offer of services.

2. My work

The sound design, sound effects editing, mixing and recording presented on this site are my own work. The written content, layout and code of this site are mine. Please do not reproduce my audio work or present it as your own.

3. Third-party material in the redesign projects

The sound effects redesign projects on this site use picture, dialogue and music from existing commercial films and television. I do not own that material and I claim no rights in it. All such rights remain with their respective copyright holders.

Those pieces were produced as coursework. In each case the original sound effects track was muted in full and rebuilt by me from scratch, and the material is shown here for educational and portfolio purposes: to demonstrate my own sound work against a known reference. It is non-commercial, it is presented in short excerpt, and it is not offered as a substitute for the original work.

If you hold rights in any material shown here and you want it taken down, contact me and I will remove it promptly. I would rather take something down than argue about it.

4. Animated graphics

The animated GIFs used for decoration on this site are historical artifacts from GeoCities-era personal homepages, preserved by the Internet Archive’s GifCities project and by the textfiles.com under-construction archive. They are presented as period artifacts. Rights in any individual graphic remain with whoever originally made it; if that is you and you would like a graphic removed, contact me.

5. Accuracy

I try to keep the credits and information on this site accurate and current, but I make no warranty that everything is complete or up to date. Availability, in particular, changes with my class schedule.

6. Links to other sites

Where this site links somewhere else, I am not responsible for that site’s content or its privacy practices.

7. No warranty

This site is provided as is. I do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or free of errors.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.

10. Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
